For Selecting & Wearing Jewellery: |
Jewellery is an important accessory
but whatever one wears must compliment and not overpower the
personality of the wearer. One must develop his own distinctive
style. Never ever try change and be like anyone else.
Buying jewellery is not just visiting a showroom and selecting
the piece on display. The more a customer understands the
design the more elegant is the effect. Along with the design,
one must not forget to check the workmanship and the quality
of the product, as these aspects too make the jewellery unique.
While wearing a lot of jewellery, the clothes should be kept
simple and straight-lined. With a heavily embroidered outfit
do not wear equally heavy jewellery.
Each ornament has its own individual beauty and thus a haphazard
combination of ornaments would lead to loss of their individual
beauty.
Gems do not have to match the clothes you are wearing but
they should provide a suitable contrast or blend compatibly.
Women with short necks should avoid wearing a choker. Long
string necklace will help elongate the neck. Women with long
necks can get away with almost any look. Long earrings look
good with a dramatic necklace.
One should wear jewellery that suits the occasion. For instance
wearing heavy studded jewellery at a casual party may feel
you out of the place.
One must update jewellery from time to time as it adds to
variety and gives one a different look every time. Updating
the jewellery recharges the freshness and also strengthens
the bond of relationship.
Unlike other investments, jewellery has a resale value and
it cannot be termed as a secondhand one.
